integration such as sales, customer service, and
telemarketing.

Some of the features available on
an Ethernet based system are as follows:
- Call detail reporting

- Simplified WEB based administration
- Voice mail
- Auto Attendant
- Trunk Usage Reporting
- Conference Calling
- Remote Site Extensions
- Phantom Extensions
- Off Site notification
- Off Site Extensions
- Call center Support
- Voice Mail to EMail integration
- TAPI data application Integration
- Single Cable Plant
- Paging Music or Message "On Hold"
and more ...
Reasons for using VOIP Phone System
The main reason for the new phone
system (using VoIP) is to allow multiple locations
to share support and phone services, while keeping
phone costs down to one tenth of other technologies.
Our main reasons for deploying VoIP
is as follows:
- Allow us to seamlessly integrate remote offices
/ personnel for increased productivity.
- Reduce telecommunications costs by eliminating
long distance charges between offices.
- Reduced cost of moves / changes of telecommunication
equipment as it is essentially plug and play.
We recently moved one of our larger
offices and implemented a VoIP-compatible phone
system. With our offices on different legacy phone
systems, it did not make financial sense to replace
all of them at this time. However, because of our
belief as to this technology is going, we implemented
a VoIP-compatible system in order to be in a position
to take advantage of this technology when our other
offices are ready.
