Document management, document imaging, enterprise content management, content
management systems, records managment, are all in some manner the same concept. Primarily these terms are referring to
the abililty to take business documents and store in a database for quick retreival. This concept has quickly become a business reality and standard
for companies that need quick and easy access to real documents not just a report of information extracted from a database.
